Media: Nord Stream - 2 was left without a pipe-laying barge

The Russian company Mezhregiontrubkrovodstroy will not provide the Fortuna pipe laying barge to complete the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline. This was announced on August 4 by a company representative. MRTS JSC does not and does not intend to take part in the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea using the Fortuna pipe-laying barge or otherwise, RBC quoted the interlocutor as saying. According to him, the company is not the owner of the ship, and uses it under a bareboat charter agreement to work on other projects. Earlier, the barge Fortune was called in the press one of the possible candidates for the completion of the construction of the gas pipeline. Now, according to the Marine Traffic portal, it is located in the German port of Rostock.
