In Sweden, seven people died from COVID-19 per day


The number of deaths in Sweden from COVID-19 per day increased by seven people. Such data were released on August 14 by representatives of the Swedish Public Health Agency, who monitor the epidemiological situation in the country around the clock and provide up-to-date statistics. In total, 5,783 people have already died from COVID-19 in Sweden. The number of people infected with coronavirus infection is 84,294. Over the past 24 hours, 442 new cases of infection have been identified. As of August 14, 2,541 people with severe COVID-19 have received or are still receiving emergency medical care in intensive care wards.
