A new US chargé d'affaires arrived in the capital of Belarus

Jeffrey Djiuk, chargé d'affaires of the United States in the republic, who will be the head of the American diplomatic mission in the country until the new ambassador of the United States arrives in Minsk, arrived in the capital of Belarus. This was announced on July 27 by the American Embassy in Belarus on its Facebook page. The diplomatic mission said that Jeffrey Djiuk is arriving as the new interim head of the US Embassy. Mr. Djiuk is now the charge d'affaires of the United States in Belarus, and when the ambassador arrives in Minsk, he will remain in the country as deputy head of the diplomatic mission, the American embassy also said. Note, as the news agency reported, earlier it became known that the Central Election Commission of Belarus formed voter lists: 6844932 people will be able to vote in the August presidential election.
