Uganda to uphold a number of quarantine restrictions
Some restrictions on the quarantine regime in Uganda will remain in place to prevent the threat of outbreaks of a new type of coronavirus infection, President Yoweri Museveni said during a television address. According to him, Uganda is entering a dangerous stage when there is an increase in the number of people infected with a new infection. Therefore, schools, religious institutions, beauty salons, bars, nightclubs and shopping centers will remain closed in the country. There will also be a curfew in the country. According to the news agency, by June 22, 770 cases of coronavirus of a new type were confirmed in Uganda. 578 people have already recovered and were discharged from medical facilities.
