In Turkey, the military found and destroyed a number of PKK shelters

Turkish law enforcement authorities destroyed several shelters belonging to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). This was reported on June 21 by Anadolu Ajansi. The special operation took place in the province of Mardin, located in the southeast of the country. Rebel supplies were found in shelters that were later blown up. Recall that the Kurdistan Workers Party is recognized by Turkey, the USA, as well as the EU countries as a terrorist organization, therefore, in these states its activities are prosecuted by law. The rebels are in favor of creating their own autonomy within the state, but Ankara is not ready to make such concessions. The conflict between the parties has been going on for many decades, during which more than 40 thousand people died.
