The number of victims continues to decline in the Netherlands COVID-19

On 17 April, the Netherlands 'National Institute of Health and Environment (RIVM) reported 144 new victims from coronavirus in its daily report. This is more than last Friday (131). According to official data, the mortality rate from coronavirus in the Netherlands is now 3.459. However, data from the Central Bureau of Statistics show that real mortality from coronavirus is significantly higher. The number of new hospitalizations for 17 April is 156. A total of 9,465 people have been hospitalized since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak in the country. The total number of detected infections in the country as of April 17 is 30,449 cases, which is 1.235 more than the previous day. The actual number of infections is higher because not all patients are tested for infection.
