In India, the number of detected cases of COVID-19 has exceeded 13 thousand

The total number of cases of coronavirus infection in India reached 13,387, the press service of the Indian Ministry of Health reports. It is noted that over the past 24 hours, 628 more cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. By 8 a.m. (time local), the country recorded 437 deaths from diseases caused by the new coronavirus, the department said. Also since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,749 people have been cured of coronavirus infection in India. According to the news agency, earlier the authorities of India extended until May 3 the national quarantine in the country due to the pandemic of coronavirus SARS- CoV -2.
