Nine heads of tax inspections of Uzbekistan dismissed from their positions
Due to the lowest indicators of tax revenues to the budget of Uzbekistan in 2019 and the failure of the set tasks, nine tax inspections lost their heads, the press service of the state tax department of Uzbekistan reported on February 8. Tax inspections of Saihunabad, Dekhkanabad, Narpay, Khujaabad, Balykchinsky, Kumkurgan, Guzar, Farish and Romitan districts of Uzbekistan and heads of these inspections were dismissed from their positions. At the same time, the growth of tax revenues to the budget of Uzbekistan last year amounted to 154%. The Navoi and Khorezm regions were noted as leaders in revenues. 31 the country's tax inspectorate has demonstrated maximum performance indicators, the source said. One of the tasks of the tax department of Uzbekistan for the current year is the increase in income tax payers by 500 thousand, 150 thousand of which in the first quarter of 2020. Also, one of the stated tasks for the current year is targeted work with taxpayers, fight against corruption, support of entrepreneurs, protection of their rights and interests.
