Quarantine regime tightened in the British city of Leicester


The quarantine regime, operating due to the pandemic situation, decided to tighten in the city of Leicester in the UK, said British Health Minister Matt Hancock on June 29 during a speech in the House of Commons of the kingdom's parliament. The head of government noted, unlike the rest of the country, there is a noticeable increase in the number of new cases of coronavirus infection in the city. In June, five schools closed due to COVID-19 outbreaks in Leicester. According to the news agency, on June 29 it became known that the number of reported cases of coronavirus infection in the UK was 312,653.
